How to get into your website to make changes

If you look after your own content, like updating opening hours, swapping a photo or adding a news post, you can log in and do it yourself. Here's how to get in.

Something changed in August 2026

Webflow retired its old editing tool on 4 August 2026. If you used to edit your site by adding /?edit to the end of your web address, that link no longer works.

Nothing has been lost and your site is unaffected. You now edit in a slightly different place, and most people find it easier once they've seen it. If you had access before, Webflow moved your account across automatically, so you should already be set up.

The quickest way in

1. Open your website in a browser, the same as any visitor would.
2. Click into the address bar and add ?update to the end of the address, then press Enter. For example: www.yourbusiness.com.au?update
3. Sign in with your Webflow email address and password if you're asked to.

You'll land on your website with an editing panel around it. You're now looking at the real site, and anything you change here is a draft until you publish it.

Tip: bookmark that ?update address so you don't have to type it each time.

The other way in

If you'd rather start from the beginning:

1. Go to webflow.com and click Log in.
2. Sign in with your email address and password.
3. Choose your website from the list.

Both routes end up in the same place, so use whichever suits you.

If you can't get in

You've never logged in before, or you don't have a password. You need an invitation from us first. Email support@rhythmdigital.au with the name of the person who needs access and their email address, and we'll send one through.

You've forgotten your password. Use the "Forgot password" link on the Webflow login page. The reset email comes from Webflow, so check your junk folder if it doesn't arrive within a few minutes.

You're logged in but can't see your site. You may be signed in with a different email address to the one we invited. Sign out and try again with the address the invitation went to.

You get in but can't change anything. That usually means you're on a page or an area that's part of the design rather than the content. Have a read of What you can change yourself, and what to send us.

What happens next

Once you're in, you can edit text, swap images, add blog posts and update listings like team members or projects. Changes aren't live until you publish them, so there's no risk of a half-finished edit appearing on your site.
